For Funders: Registration for the YTFG Fall Meeting is Open

The members of the YTFG are gathering in San Diego November 4 and 5. For those of you not members of YTFG, we are very inclusive. What’s important to us is that we do our best with the resources that we can influence to improve outcomes for young people. That starts with three ingredients:

1. Creating opportunities for foundation staff to be able to meet each other; 
2. Becoming familiar with each other’s strategies enough to support collaboration; and, 
3. Staying on the cutting edge of policy, practice, and research. 

We know that regional foundations bring a unique knowledge of their communities and the interplay between systems, while national foundations bring invaluable targeted knowledge. Creating opportunities for staff to meet and reflect together is at the heart of YTFG.

On Nov. 5, the theme of the meeting is Extensions of Well-Being in Policy and Practice. On Nov. 6, we’ll break into our work groups (Foster Care, Juvenile Justice and Multiple Pathways to Graduation) for site visits in the San Diego area.
