Are You Rethinking Accountability?

Are you concerned about the impact state accountability systems have on our schools and our young people? Then you might want to consider heading west to Coronado for the 2nd Annual Alternative Accountability Policy Forum.

SIATech and RAPSA are excited to announce the Coronado Island Marriott Resort and Spa will be the Policy Forum location for 2013!

This conference will address critical accountability issues for schools serving the most at-risk students. The forum consists of a series of sessions each including expert presenters, small group collaboration, and facilitated discussion of emerging consensus.

Last year’s forum included educators from across the country and resulted in the publication of a report focused on best practices and policies for supporting dropout recovery and other schools serving at risk students. That report has provided a foundation for a number of initiatives across the country.

Gather with your colleagues to expand your understanding of what is being done in cutting edge schools, districts and State Departments. Focus on how you can lend your energy the expanding advocacy for at risk students and the educators who serve them.
